About the Teacher
Mr. Matthew Walsh
I graduated from Northern Arizona University in 2020 and have been at Anthem ever since!
I have been working hard to turn the music program to what it is today. I teach general music to kindergarten to 4th grade students. That is where I get younger students excited about music and learn the basics of notes, rhythms, musical concepts, singing and all the different instruments
5th-8th grade participated in performing ensembles. Students can choose to be in band, choir or both, this is where I push them to be the best musicians they can be!
I am also the low brass and visual teacher at Boulder Creek High School! This opportunity allows me to continue working with students from the community and making the music programs the best they can possibly be!
