Since graduating from Lenoir Rhyne College in 2004 with a degree in Family Intervention D/HH, I have dedicated my career to education. After relocating to Arizona with my family in 2012, I had the opportunity to focus on my children until they started school. Once they were settled, I began substitute teaching and pursued my Arizona Teaching License. Since 2022, I have been thrilled to work in a general education classroom at Deer Valley Unified School District. I am excited for the future and look forward to helping students reach their full potential!

Hello!  My name is Lexi Carr and I am so excited to be your child's 6th grade ELA and Social Studies teacher this year.  Teaching has been my dream for as long as I can remember, and I feel so lucky to do what I love every day.

I earned my B.S. in Education from Northern Arizona University in beautiful Flagstaff--Go Lumberjacks!!

I have previously taught both 3rd and 4th grades for several years in a different district and I'm thrilled to now be part of the Anthem family.  I am looking forward to an amazing year of learning and growth with my students!
