Mrs. Jamie Christensen
I am excited to be a part of Team Awesome teaching 7th & 8th grade math here at Anthem School. I have loved being a part of the Anthem School community since 2001 when my oldest daughter started kindergarten here. All three of my girls are Anthem School alumni! I graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education (Health Sciences & Geography). I earned a Master of Education in Human Relations from Northern Arizona University. I am also properly certified in middle grades mathematics. I started teaching in 1994 and have had experience teaching in middle school, junior high, and high school. I have also enjoyed teaching private piano lessons for over 20 years!
My family is my greatest joy! I have enjoyed gaining two son-in-laws over the last few years and am so excited that I now have a grandson! I enjoy traveling and spending time with my family who live coast to coast! My summers are usually spent traveling, hiking, jet skiing, and enjoying time outdoors…in cooler places!
I am passionate about learning and want to help my students on their journey to becoming lifelong learners. I believe success can be achieved through hard work, perseverance, and dedication.
