Hello! My name is Emily Pratt, and I am excited to be a fourth-grade teacher. I have five years of teaching experience and hold a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education as well as a Master’s degree in Literacy, Curriculum and Instruction. I am passionate about creating a positive, engaging classroom where every student feels supported, challenged, and inspired to grow as a learner.

I live in Anthem with my husband and our four children. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family, watching my children play sports,  and being involved  in our community. I look forward to partnering with families to make this a successful and memorable school year for every student.

Hello! My name is Amanda Boden, and I am excited to be returning to the classroom as a 4th grade teacher at Anthem School!

I graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a Middle School Math endorsement. I began my teaching career at Anthem School as a 3rd grade teacher before earning my Gifted Education endorsement and becoming the Gifted Specialist. After several years supporting students across grade levels, I am excited to bring my experiences and passion for learning back to the 4th grade classroom.

I am originally from Southern California, but I moved to Arizona for college and quickly fell in love with the state. I now call Anthem home, where I live with my dog, Gracie.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, relaxing by the pool, trying new restaurants, and exploring Arizona’s beautiful hiking trails.

I am looking forward to a wonderful year filled with learning, growth, and memorable experiences. I can’t wait to get to know my students and families and make this a great year together!
