I have been teaching since 1987.  I earned my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education at Kansas State University.  I have always known I wanted to be a teacher.  My favorite part of teaching is watching children learn and grow!

My husband and I live in Anthem and we have two beautiful daughters who continue to amaze us each and every day.  I started working at Anthem School in 2011 and knew I found my home.  

In my free time, I love spending time with my family and friends, camping, traveling, or fun day trips.  Teaching is my life’s passion and I love it!

My name is Danna Sampanes, and I have been in education since 2013. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Grand Canyon University. My teaching experience includes working as a 1st-grade teacher, a K-8 technology instructor, and currently as a 5th-grade teacher. I believe teaching is one of the most rewarding careers, and I’m passionate about fostering a positive and engaging learning environment. I strive to provide the instruction, resources, and support necessary for each child to reach their full potential, both academically and socially. I am proud to call Anthem School my home! When I am not teaching, I spend every minute I can with my amazing family.
